Dallas-based multi-million dollar freight logistics company, American Diamond Logistics, was using an outdated custom-coded Access database for business management.
The system was only available from within the office, crashed frequently, and the company had very little tech support to keep it running. With a staff of more than 20, the database was just too old to continue using.
But how do you move from a computer-based database to the cloud?
Thin Air worked with ADL to create NavigatorTMS (Transportation Management System), a browser-accessible web application software. The cloud-based system allows sales and operations staff to access the system from any device or location, offering instant access to vital and rapidly changing information.
NavigatorTMS provides robust reporting and analysis, invoicing and accounting, integrated calendar and notification functions, and is a modern, mobile-friendly design.
Has Navigator helped their bottom-line in business? Steve Wineriter, president of ADL, says, “Without a doubt! We have increased the efficiency of our sales staff, can provide instant information to our customers, and have shown 100% business growth year 2 over year 1 of using Navigator. It is an invaluable business management tool for the future of our business.”
